fortunately i'm not a professional filmmaker and just do it as a hobby. i only make films for close family and friends. all six billion of them are free to take it or leave it.

when people ask "what to you do?" i reply "convert chemical energy into heat energy."

if people ask me what i do for a living their eyes glaze over as soon as i tell them. beats slipping someone a roofie.

pretty much everyone i know, either is working for us, has worked for us, or is going to be working us. the few outside of that , either i have worked for them , worked with them or their industry peeps.

everyone else i just hide away from, with their strange tails of the "real world"

At this point I either stab them with a rusty fork or hurt them with my flailing limps?

I've had plenty of the "I can be in your films! I've always wanted to be an actress!" and at one point I used to have to answer the question with "I make films, no not that kind."
I answered with "I'm an auter" once just to see the reaction. It was funnier than I expected [img]biggrin.gif[/img]

i wouldnt choose the word bubble, cartel i think is a more appropriate word,

talking on bubbles waiting for the amazon delivery man to turn up so i can crack on with a short film i am currently shooting on my desk,. which does involve bubbles
